ICICI Centre for Child Health and Nutrition (ICCHN) fellowships
It gives us immense pleasure to announce the ICCHN fellowships for participating in the Third National Bioethics Conference. Selected abstracts from those accepted for the conference will be awarded the ICCHN fellowship. Fellowships are aimed especially at student participants/ other participants whose papers are selected for the conference and who may find it difficult to obtain funding for attending the conference. It will cover travel, accommodation and registration fees. Please send an email to nbcdelhi@gmail.com for being considered for the fellowship. Please mention the title of your abstract as it is submitted at the online system as the subject while applying for the fellowship. The fellowship will be awarded only to Indian citizens residing in the country.

Abstract Deadline: July 31, 2010 Abstracts can be submitted online at nbc3.ijme.in after creating an account with the conference.
Presentations can include: • Paper presentation (abstract max of 250 words) Workshops that are highly interactive and/or use innovative communication methods are encouraged. Workshops may aim to generate recommendations/guidelines, build skills, provide information, etc. Only proposals that adhere to the format below will be considered. Format for Workshop Proposals 1.Title 2.Names of Facilitators with Institutional Affiliations (maximum four facilitators per workshop) 3.Maximum number of participants 4.Significance of topic in the field of bioethics (50 words): 5.Two key learning objectives 6.Describe proposed methods: (e.g. Group work, brainstorming, mapping, role play, panel discussion, etc) 7.Tentative Structure and Time management (Please provide a structure of the workshop with a time schedule.) 8.Method of assessing and recording feedback from participants 9.Maximum number of words (parts 4-8 above) is 500. |

All categories of registration are inclusive of conference material, food (lunch and tea) and access to all sessions but do not include accommodation, travel, breakfast and dinner.

The scientific committee of the Third National Bioethics Conference seeks abstracts of papers, and proposals for holding workshops, on topics relevant to bioethics. These must be in line with the conference theme: “Governance of healthcare – ethics, equity and justice.”
